I love the idea behind this puzzle. I had once a similar one, but instead of a cube and a ring, I used other kind of pieces. But the movements from one edge to another on the surface of the 3D object was the same as in this puzzle. This is a clever little puzzle. It took me a moment to figure out how the ring is supposed to move around the cube, but once I got the mechanics sorted out, I still had trouble finding the solution. I've been playing with this on and off for a few weeks and I've managed to get the ring off of the frame. I still can't get the ring back to the starting position. Perhaps this is a little trickier than a level two. That's why I like these level two puzzles... they can always suprise you!
