Was this dunked in a pool of lube before boxing and shipping? The cube feels greasy and honestly a bit gross to touch and even after wiping it down I can't get rid of that. Maybe after more use it will feel better.
That aside, it's very cool this puzzle has two layers of corners that can turn as well as being a face turning puzzle. That makes this quite an interesting solve!
