Karakuri Work Kit - Fukiage (Blow Up) DIY Trick Box

This build-it-yourself wooden box functions as a cigarette box when completed.

Fukiage work kit was developed for the 5th annual "Karakuri Puzzle in Hakone"in 2015.  It is formerly a traditional work of the Hakone / Odawara district. It is a cigarette holder and dispenser.  You put the "cigarettes" inside before hand. When you lift the inner box up, then down, one cigarette pops up. However, the real cigarette has been substituted with wooden dowels.

Comes with illustrated step-by step instructions and all wooden pieces for assembly.
Please note that wood glue is required for assembly, but is not provided in the kit itself.
