This large puzzle is the same design and solution as the .308 Bullet Burr Puzzle 3, except it is created out of the much larger .50 BMG round.
It is a more difficult puzzle than the Bullet Burr Design 1.
The unique looking six-piece burr puzzle is printed in PLA plastic with a metallic looking finish. It can be solved with different looking final states. It is easy to disassemble but challenging to put back together! This puzzle is not only for the mind; it also requires dexterity.
The finish is smooth and shiny and this makes the pieces seem slippery. In addition to this, their light weigh adds greatly to the challenge of assembling the puzzle with only two hands. You may need a little bit of balance in this feat, especially with the larger size. Puzzle lovers will relish this challenge. This puzzle is delivered unassembled.
This particular design is also available in a smaller .308 Winchester size.
This puzzle is chambered in .50 Browning Machine Gun (BMG) which was developed for the M2 Browning machine gun (also know as the "Ma Deuce") in the late 1910s, entering official service in 1921. This round is still in use today by the military and shooting sports enthusiasts, especially for long ranges.
