Product Info

A "Magic Square" is a math logic puzzle in which all rows, columns and diagonals have the same sum.  The goal of this puzzle is to arrange the dice to create a magic square.  There is one small catch that you cannot see from the picture.  Some of the dice are stuck together in lines of 3.  There are 5 of these pieces and 1 solo die.  This adds to the element of difficulty!

A perfectly sized desk puzzle!

Based in Munster, Germany, Siebenstein-Spiele was founded in 1992. Although the company is mainly known for board games, Siebenstein-Spiele also makes many wooden puzzles, several of which have been designed by company founder Jürgen Reiche.

Relatively easy to get the identical sum around the four edges, for instance 13; but less easy to make it the same sum in rows and columns (I haven't managed it yet) and probably way less easy to get the sum the same for the two diagonals. Easy to lose the dice as it's a very small puzzle; when I am not playing with it I put it in a ziplock bag. Might have been nice to have a cover (plastic or wood) included. All in all I expect to be some while with this one, given I have terrible math skills.
