I bought this because of the beautiful aesthetic of it when assembled. I will be honest: it took me about an hour to get it apart the first time; it would have been much easier if I had longer fingernails. The great aspect of this puzzle, is that once you have it apart, and you think you know how to put it back together, it is like starting from scratch again, in that you have to experiment WHEN each piece can be added, and then HOW it can go together. I had an epiphany solving it. You can easily enough figure how it is made but then you start wondering how to do it and at one time... BOUM it finally works. But then puting it back together is alwo a challenge. I like the concept behind this puzzle, but it seems too small to me and I found it awkward and slippery to work with. I figured out how it must come apart, but it just wouldn't budge. I found myself digging my fingernails into the gap, and having to crank with considerable force on the pieces. It almost hurt my fingers to work on the puzzle!
