Product Info

This puzzle has been produced exclusively for Puzzle Master by Pelikan.
Please note that wood color may vary.

This puzzle was crafted in Europe with absolutely fantastic quality. Each of the puzzles of Pelikan design are unparalleled in their class!
Every piece of the puzzle is precisely cut and very well made;  you cannot find its equal anywhere else.
The diversity in wood makes each puzzle a unique masterpiece.

Designed to accompany the Arthur and the Excaliburr puzzles that are also cubic caged burrs in the theme of T.H. White's “Once and Future King”, this exquisite burr consists of 8 burrsticks in 2 sets of 4 in addition to Merlin's wand that passes through it.  A difficult solve, as you will find that the burr pieces move but are largely inhibited by the wand which can only move along 2 restricted paths.  A beautiful piece for the serious puzzler, and stunning on display!

Made with wenge wood and either purpleheart or merbau for contrast.

Designed by: Stephan Baumegger.
Difficulty: 85 Moves (64.7.3.3.2.2.2.2)  The brackets indicate the breakdown of moves to free each piece sequentially.
