Level 8? I think not. More a level 5 or perhaps 6. Getting the key inside was easy (less than a minute). Getting it out again was little more challenging (hence the level 6) rating). I would put this down as a good entry level puzzle. Anyone who would like to get into doing these sort of puzzles would not go far wrong to get this as their first.

Love the Key. I love using puzzles here to teach my kids problem solving. But all 3 young ones took less than 60 seconds. Difficult nope. For buyers I suggest looking at the prices as far as wanting a challenge. The more it is the better the brain teaser! I'm surprised at myself suggesting to people spend more money pay no mind to the Difficult ratings. But we love puzzles or we wouldn't be here. Level of difficulty maybe a 3
