Product Info

Unlock the challenge of the Cast Keyhole metal puzzle from Hanayama Huzzle. This intricate 3D puzzle is crafted from high quality metal and features a unique keyhole design that will put your problem solving skills to the test. At first glance, the two pieces have simple angles cut into their flat surfaces, like the edge of a key. However, when the two pieces intertwine, they look more like a 3D maze.

Designed by Finnish designer, Vesa Timonen, the objective is to separate the two pieces of the Cast Keyhole and then to reassemble it into its original state. With its sleek and modern appearance, it makes for a great gift for him or her, perfect for puzzle enthusiasts and those who appreciate a good brain teaser.

I gave this as a gift to my son-in-law. Last time we were talking about Hanayama puzzles, he said that this is his favorite, because even though you know how it works, it still takes some really concentration to get the pieces apart, and then back together. I like this one because no mater how many time you do it, it doesn't really get any easier, because of the sequential steps it requires; if you lose track of where you are, you may have to backtrack almost to the beginning again

Took longer than expected to take this apart, and even longer to put back! Difficultly rating is appropriate, don’t be mislead by its appearance as a simple puzzle - it’s trickier than you think but lots of fun! Great quality as usual as a Hanayama puzzle. The polished metal and weight of the material makes it a very satisfying puzzle.

Held off on buying this for awhile because it looked too easy.. Finally purchased it and I was very glad I did! Awesome little puzzle where you think you're making progress only to find you need to circle back to the begining. I would recommend to puzzle lovers of any skill level. Really a fun little piece to solve, and reassemble.

The solution is very interesting. But like many other maze-like puzzles, the design (in terms of looks) is not appealing to me. However, I'd recommend it to everyone - beginner or pro in such puzzles.

This is a great little puzzle. Very sturdy and a good weight. The "maze" is much longer than it first appears and takes an open mind to solve it. The real challenge is, once it is apart, shuffle to two pieces and walk away for awhile. It will be harder to put back together than you think.

Fun to fiddle with, maybe over rated in difficulty a bit. Has a nice size, weight and sturdiness, looks good. The solution is a little longer and more complex than you might guess from a first glance, but only requires some perseverance to find it.
