I bought this because of the beautiful aesthetic of it when assembled. I will be honest: it took me about an hour to get it apart the first time; it would have been much easier if I had longer fingernails. The great aspect of this puzzle, is that once you have it apart, and you think you know how to put it back together, it is like starting from scratch again, in that you have to experiment WHEN each piece can be added, and then HOW it can go together. I found this to be very challenging.
I had an epiphany solving it. You can easily enough figure how it is made but then you start wondering how to do it and at one time... BOUM it finally works. But then puting it back together is alwo a challenge. Great puzzle (it was my first hanayame and I loved it: the feel of the metal puzzle, being able to play with both donuts, the simplicity of it - only four parts - but the challenge to solve it).
Another good pocket puzzle, but somewhat difficult to solve. Most people I show it to give up. Once the two pieces are aligned, pressure needs to be applied at certain points to split both pieces in half.
A very pretty and deviously slippery puzzle. One of my favorites. It requires a nice balance of logic, guesswork, and dexterity. Recommended.
A beatifull little puzzle which is rather easy to solve. Its rather small so its maybe difficult to handle it.
This little puzzle is awesome in every aspect! The design is perfectly great, the solution is very logical. I love it.
I like the concept behind this puzzle, but it seems too small to me and I found it awkward and slippery to work with. I figured out how it must come apart, but it just wouldn't budge. I found myself digging my fingernails into the gap, and having to crank with considerable force on the pieces. It almost hurt my fingers to work on the puzzle! I wish it was somewhat larger.
Remarkable puzzle, but could be disassembled haphazardly.
Gorgeous little puzzle! A lot of fun to fiddle with when it's in your pocket, just like the Marble one. And just like Cast Marble, it's pretty easy. Figured it out in about two minutes.
